Modica chocolate is made the old way: cocoa paste and sugar are worked at low temperature, so the sugar crystals stay whole and the bar keeps its rustic, crunchy texture.
This bar comes from a small workshop in Modica Alta. It contains only cocoa mass, cane sugar and sea salt – no milk, no added fats. Store in a cool, dry place.
