Overview

The Neapolis Archaeological Park is the monumental heart of ancient Syracuse. Your guide, an archaeologist, will lead you into the Greek Theatre carved into the rock, where plays by Aeschylus were first performed and classical dramas are still staged every spring.

We then walk into the Latomia del Paradiso, a lush quarry garden, to reach the Ear of Dionysius, a cave with an amazing echo, and finish at the Roman Amphitheatre.
