Cavagrande del Cassibile is a deep canyon carved by the river Cassibile. From the rim, a steep trail winds down through Mediterranean scrub to a chain of clear pools set among smooth limestone.
We spend the central hours swimming and relaxing, then climb back up in the shade of the afternoon. A real adventure for active travellers.
